I've been ignoring this journal for two years and forty-odd days.

During that time, I finished writing exactly zero works of fiction.  (Though I did scribble quite a bit, don't get me wrong.)

On the other hand, I DID finish writing my dissertation.  And got my degree.  They spelled my name right on the diploma and everything.  Yay ( Read more... )

The new Annals of the Association of American Geographers arrived yesterday.

This morning I looked at the table of contents and upon reading , "Hierarchical Location-Allocation with Spatial Choice Interaction Modeling," I thought, "Cool, I gotta read that!"

And yeah, I can actually follow the math.
